Our Approach

Dr. Jud uses a combination of approaches to gain specific insight into his patient’s story. Through traditional pulse diagnosis Dr. Kendall is able to pinpoint overactive and deficient organ systems. This informs him where to apply needles to balance out the underlying dis-ease and restore balance while you relax comfortably on the table. Many patients experience a profound sense of peace and are often reinvigorated after each session.

Dr. Jud is a nationally certified “Diplomate of Acupuncture” and been practicing Acupuncture for over 15 years. He offers:

Traditional pulse diagnosis
Needle treatment
Electronic acupuncture
Cupping & moxa
Point therapy
Acu-tacks & non-invasive Acu-beads

Dr. Pam is also certified in acupuncture and loves to use this skill to help the pregnant moms in her practice to make the changes they wish for a pregnancy and birthing experience they desire. She is often invited to births to share her passion and expertise.

Legacy of Healing

Acupuncture has been a traditional form of healing for over 5000 years. Acupuncture and meridian therapy take advantage of the innate ability of the body to heal itself. Then in 1895, another profession popped up focusing on the innate intelligence of the human body—the profession and craft is chiropractic. With symmetry at its core, the ability to correct structure and body tone leads to a more vibrant nervous system and health.

In contrast to modern medicine, symptoms are not the only target. Acupuncture and Chiropractic focus on restoring awareness and balance of the body systems.

How Acupuncture Works

Acupuncture involves inserting fine single-use sterilised needles into specific points on the body, or applying various other techniques to the acupuncture points to bring about healing. Studies around the world have found that acupuncture is a safe and useful treatment for many different disorders.

Acupuncture points are located on specific channels (meridians) that connect the exterior of the body with the internal organs. When the body is in a state of good health, Qi (pronounced chee) and blood flow smoothly through these pathways but when there is dis-ease or trauma there can be insufficiencies or obstructions to the flow of qi and blood, which then cause an imbalance in the body leading to illness or pain.
